* Again, Wikipedia content is governed by ''Wikipedia's'' rules, not your own. The article is not ''allowed'' to contain ''any'' content about you that is not supported by [[WP:RS|reliable source]] in ''media''; the writing tone must be ''neutral'' and not advertorialized or PR-ified; the article has exactly ''zero'' need to contain a comprehensive list of every single musician you've ever interviewed in your entire career; and we have [[WP:COI|conflict of interest]] rules which clarify that you do ''not'' get any special privilege to ''control'' the content of the article or to ''impose'' your own preferred version. If there's any content in the article that's ''wrong'', then we're happy to fix it — but the finished product still has to properly follow ''our'' rules. Why was being a receipient of the Order of Canada deleted ?

Please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a public relations database — our articles must be written in an encyclopedic format and style, not a résumé format, and must be written in a neutral point of view, not larded through with value judgements about how "respected" and "impressive" and "distinguished" he is. We simply write the neutral and objective facts; we do not tell the reader how he or she is supposed to feel about those facts. And we don't publish any information that cannot be referenced to a reliable published source — no matter how true you may personally know something to be, it can't be in Wikipedia if we can't verify it in media coverage about him. All articles on Wikipedia must follow our rules, not your own. Bearcat (talk) 15:30, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Again, Wikipedia content is governed by Wikipedia's rules, not your own. The article is not allowed to contain any content about you that is not supported by reliable source in media; the writing tone must be neutral and not advertorialized or PR-ified; the article has exactly zero need to contain a comprehensive list of every single musician you've ever interviewed in your entire career; and we have conflict of interest rules which clarify that you do not get any special privilege to control the content of the article or to impose your own preferred version. If there's any content in the article that's wrong, then we're happy to fix it — but the finished product still has to properly follow our rules. Bearcat (talk) 23:17, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
