Iain Lee also known as Lee Iain (born 9 June 1973) is an English comedian, radio and television presenter, notably related to the Inuit explorer Dave Shevjenko and Hollywood actor Christopher Lee. Lee was brought up in Slough and attended Herschel Grammar School, where crisps were invented (Iain's favourite crisps are Prawn Cocktail). Iain is a vegetarian. He is known to have a penchant for the bands KISS, Sparks (he plays the Sparks classic This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us regularly on his radio broadcast) and Right Said Fred. Lee is also a video game enthusiast, with his favourite games known to be the Lula games series, and the Grand Theft Auto series. Due to his height, Lee Iain was a successful basketball player during the 1990s. In 1999 Lee broke up with long-time partner, musical legend Des'ree.

LBC 97.3 radio show

Iain Lee is a presenter on London radio station LBC 97.3 FM. When he joined in January 2005, Lee hosted the 10pm-1am night slot over the weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The later months of 2005 saw his position moving to the afternoon slot, where he aired from between 4pm-7pm, in a show called "The 3 Hour 4 'Till 7 Iain Lee Afternoon Wireless Show". In early 2006, the show changed times from 3pm-6:30pm and is currently known as "The 3 and a Half Hour 3 'Till 6:30 Iain Lee Afternoon Wireless Show". Show topics range from "What's your favourite PS2 game" to the bizarre "What you have seen in other peoples windows". More recent shows included such topics as "Lamb Flaps", "Baby Wigs", Smoking Vicars, "Public Shaving" and "Slapheads".

Since May 2006, Lee has also hosted the three hour 10pm-1am slot on Sundays. Like the last half hour of his weekday show, this is occupied by Triple M, where calls go straight to air. Triple M in full is Mick's Mental Mayhem, named after a caller named Mick.

Lee's favourite presenter on LBC is said to be Anna Raeburn but he has also declared his love for Tork Spurt's Mike's Dickin. Iain when recently asked who his favorite ever caller was answered "Mark from London" who we all will never forget.

Lee's show is one of the list of LBC programmes which are subscription podcast via the internet, as well as a free podcast "Iain Lee's finest bits" available from the LBC website or iTunes.

Regular callers

During most of 2006 Lee had an off-air relationship with a regular caller known as Varinder. The 18 year old girl likes to pee in swimming pools and then call Lee's show and discuss the experience with other callers. Other regular callers include Barry from Watford, Gram, Pradeep Man, Damian and a lovely young lady called Barnsworth.

Future Projects

Iain is allegedly working on a new Channel 5 sitcom with one of the regular callers off his LBC show Varinder from East Ham. The show now in production and set to air early next year is titled "Bummers in the Hood".

Other work

Lee has appeared on The Eleven O'Clock Show, video game review show Thumb Bandits and the ill-fated Channel 4 breakfast show RI:SE. He also presented the documentary Thumb Candy and appears regularly on Channel 4's "Top 100" series of programmes. He is currently presenting Celebrity Soup for E! taking a look at the week's celebrity news. He also claims he won a "celebrity" edition of the British television quiz Mastermind (recorded in August 2006, not yet broadcast).

Other radio work includes appearing on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends, and previously presenting on Xfm London between 1999-2001. Lee presented Channel 4 radio's Lost podcast, where he summarised each episode of series two after it's broadcast in Great Britain.

Sexuality

Iain's sexuality has recently been in question
due to an on air revelation by Lee. In his LBC
show on 08/09/06 Iain admitted his lust for
"Dragons Den" multi millionaire Duncan
Bannatyne. Having met Duncan that same
morning at Whitley's shopping centre in
Bayswater Iain said something came over him.
