uKit.com - is a visual cloud-based website builder developed by uKit Group, a CIS-based company[1]. Allows users to create mobile-friendly landing pages, company websites and simple online-stores in a drag'n'drop mode and publish them with custom domains[2].

Launched worldwide in mid-2015, it got 300 000 active users in its first year, reached 700 000 by the end of the second year and 1 million by the end of 2017[1]. The service has English, Russian, Polish, Romanian and Portuguese localizations and is used in over 90 countries. The project is self-financed by its mother company[3].

uKit AI project

At the end of 2017, uKit Group announced its plans to add machine learning, data mining and generative design algorithms and neural networks[4] to the next version of uKit called uKit AI - a service, that will automatically upgrade websites[5] and create dynamic landing pages for different market segments[1]. For this purpose uKit goes ICO as a part of uKit AI project[6].

Business model

Besides standard B2C subscription model, uKit has B2B white label integration used by Pagina.mx, a Mexican hoster[1]. Also "custom website by professionals for $50” is available as a service[3].

Creating websites out of social media profiles

In 2016, the builder got uKit Alt add-on — a tool that automatically creates websites based on the content from a Facebook business or personal page[1].

Available Integrations

Both uKit and uKit Alt have built-in widgets and integrations with the following services: AddThis, AmoCRM, Facebook, Google Analytics, Google Maps. Instagram, LiveChat, Linkedin SlideShare, PayPal, Pinterest, SoundCloud, Twitter, uCalc.
