Ladale Richie was born in Trelawny in northwest Jamaica. He currently plays for the local area club Montego Bay United. He previously played for Village United, a local 2nd Division Team in Falmouth, Jamaica.[4]

He is a central defender for the Jamaican National Team the 'Reggae Boyz'. His preliminary invitation 2015, when he began training with the Jamaica Men's National Team, under then Coach Winfried Schäfer[5], who was testing local based players against the foreign invitees.
