Mampi's first album Maloza was released in 2005. It included the song "Sunshya", which she performed for her first appearance on Television Zambia.[2][3] Her second album, Chimo ni chimo, was released in 2007.[2]: 223 She performed in Namibia for the first time in 2012, at Windhoek.[4]
In 2015 she collaborated with Portuguese singer , Luyanna[5], on the track Walilowelela.[6] The track is a fusion of Latino and African cultures and was accompanied by a video that was full of African inspiration.
