== No relevance of "drum machines' paragraph ==

Currently, there is a paragraph that begins with "Some of the tracks on the album ''New Traditionalists'' featured drum machines". However, there is no explicit connection of anything in the paragraph to the subject of this article, Alan Myers. Given he was considered a brilliant drummer, there probably is ''some'' relevant information to be found, sourced, and added. I'd ask folks who know what happened during this period to fill in the missing info. Thank you. ~ [[User:Jeffq|Jeff Q]] [[User talk:Jeffq|(talk)]] 23:31, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

"Alan was one of the best punk drummers of the time, and is now not recognized for it."

Now, I love Alan's drumming, but does this sound like a POV to anyone?

Pretty much the whole thing except the last two sentences is from the Devo article. You can work out when he left by Total Devo being the first album without him. -- scragz

Death?

There's no reference to his death online nor cited here. Can the reporter provide it? --jzp (talk) 02:41, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Found one. --Stapler 9 42 (talk) 06:11, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there are several today, confirmation from a number of sources. --jzp (talk) 10:44, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
