Nicolo Pasetti (born Nicolò Bernardino Pasetti Bombardella) is a German-Italian actor.

Early Life and Career

As early as in elementary school Pasetti aspired to become an actor.[1] Although Pasetti's parents would have liked their son to have had a plan B, in case his plan to become an actor failed, Pasetti insisted to pursue the acting career without compromise.[2] Therefore, after graduating from high school, Pasetti went on to study drama at the public University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. [3] Pasetti's first appearance on the screen came in 2015, when he was cast for the feature film Solness, alongside Sarbacher and Hennicke.[4] In the years that followed he played various roles in German TV shows and movie projects like Rico, Oscar und der Diebstahlstein and Lenin, die Deutschen und der Zarenmord. In 2016 Pasetti played New York's famous mayor Fiorello LaGuardia in director Christiansen's film Der Traum von der Neuen Welt. In 2017 Nicolo Pasetti was signed to star in the historical drama The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, directed by Mike Newell as German soldier Christian Hellmann,[5] alongide Hollywood stars such as Lily James and Michiel Huisman.[6][7]
