== "mental damages" ==
At least in British English, "damages" in the plural means financial recompense for suffering inflicted by another person. What is surely meant here is "mental damage" (singular) - although it could be argued that Lafferty, having committed the crime he did, was already mentally damaged to an extreme degree.[[Special:Contributions/213.127.210.95|213.127.210.95]] ([[User talk:213.127.210.95|talk]]) 21:18, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
