Request reason:

I have just talked to Drmies about this subject as I was warned by him and not Cullen but, to reiterate why I should not have been blocked in the first place: I do not think I should be banned as I was just updating the information as it was happening and when a reliable source becomes available I will reference it in the article. I have never posted any incorrect information or mislead anyone into thinking something was true when it is not and I try to reference everything as soon as a source is available. I am just trying to provide correct information for everyone to access on Wikipedia and keep that information up-to-date and after the first warning I did provide a brief summary of my actions. I am sorry for my previous actions and have learned from them and I will not try to repeat them.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia's verifiability policy states that Even if you're sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it. This means that if a source is not yet available for a piece of information you want to add to an article, you should refrain from adding the information until the source is available. Adding unsourced information is, in general, against a violation of the verifiability policy, and it is the basis for this block (note: this is a different issue from adding "incorrect" or "misleading" information). If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I do have a question thougvh why am I being punished when other people are doing the same thing on the same article and they have not been punished

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. OhNoitsJamie Talk 06:47, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

I Am Awesome 061796 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have learned my lesson not to write something on Wikipedia without providing a valid and reliable source first and I am sorry for my previous actions. I will not actively try to disrupt or interfere with already established and validated information and I will make useful contributions from now on. I was blocked previously for doing the same thing however, that was years ago and this time I was caught in a lapse of judgment and I paid for it and I will work to become a better contributor to Wikipedia as a whole

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I have learned my lesson not to write something on Wikipedia without providing a valid and reliable source first and I am sorry for my previous actions. I will not actively try to disrupt or interfere with already established and validated information and I will make useful contributions from now on. I was blocked previously for doing the same thing however, that was years ago and this time I was caught in a lapse of judgment and I paid for it and I will work to become a better contributor to Wikipedia as a whole |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I have learned my lesson not to write something on Wikipedia without providing a valid and reliable source first and I am sorry for my previous actions. I will not actively try to disrupt or interfere with already established and validated information and I will make useful contributions from now on. I was blocked previously for doing the same thing however, that was years ago and this time I was caught in a lapse of judgment and I paid for it and I will work to become a better contributor to Wikipedia as a whole |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I have learned my lesson not to write something on Wikipedia without providing a valid and reliable source first and I am sorry for my previous actions. I will not actively try to disrupt or interfere with already established and validated information and I will make useful contributions from now on. I was blocked previously for doing the same thing however, that was years ago and this time I was caught in a lapse of judgment and I paid for it and I will work to become a better contributor to Wikipedia as a whole |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

General sanctions alert for professional wrestling

Please read this notification carefully: it contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions to curtail disruption in articles related to professional wrestling. Before continuing to make edits that involve professional wrestling, please read the full description of these sanctions here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
