Komali (English: Clown) is an upcoming situation comedy drama film produced by Vels Film International.[1] Being known as JR24, this film is written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan and stars Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal , Samyuktha Hegde in the lead roles.[2] For the first time, Jayam Ravi and Kajal are acting together, although Kajal would have acted in the film Sakalakala Vallavan- because of clash with other film’s shooting, she couldn't act with Jayam Ravi.[3]

Production
The film has started shooting and will be finished soon so they can start the blockbuster sequel of Thani Oruvan. The film will be a school-based film.[4] Jayam Ravi reduced 20kgs of his weight for this film. The film is shot at Chennai in a specially erected school set.[5][6] Popular Kannada and Bollywood actress Kavita Radheshyam was roped in to play a pivotal role.[7] Hiphop Tamizha has been roped in for composing music in this Praveen K. L. is going to take care of the editing department.
Soundtrack
The film's music or soundtrack is composed by Hiphop Tamizha, marking his second collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Mohan Raja after Thani Oruvan. Lyrics are written by Madhan Karky, Arunraja Kamaraj, and Yugabharathi.
