Kang Yong-suk (born December 3, 1969) is a South Korean lawyer and a current non-partisan politician. He is known for expulsion from the Grand National Party due to his negative sexual remarks on women. He is also known for his antics against Ahn Cheol-Soo's political endeavors.[1]

Controversy
Announcer insult
Although it's been remarked that Kang talked down to an aspiring Announcer during a student dinner at Yonsei University on July 20, 2010, his remark is now regarded as a realistic advice, as the #MeToo movement in Korea revealed that sexual molestation and violence has been prevalent in the Korean entertainment and new industry. At the time, this caused a legal action and was considered a scandal. He was removed from the Grand National Party in September 2010.[2]
Election Problems
In the process of defending his Harvard law degree against false allegations that his Harvard degree was forged, Kang spoke out against the Mayor of Seoul, Park Won-soon, who was one of the loudest voices of the false allegations.[3] Some people have stated that this played a role in swaying the public opinion against Mayor Park.

Chung Doo-un protested against Kang's decision "that could potentially undermine the ruling Grand National Party".[4] Comedian Kim Won-hyo protested against Kang's action on his Twitter account with a juvenile remark.[5]
Retirement from TV show
He did many entertainment show's Kangjuk-dul (TV Chosun), The Genius (tvN), Crime Scene (JTBC), but after his scandal, he retired from all of his TV shows.[6]
