Grammar: Indian revocation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir

Is "to" the correct preposition in the title? Usually we revoke something from something. "Dessert was revoked from Jeff for bad behavior." Or "resulted in the revocation of the Store Manager title from Jeff." Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:05, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, good point Cyphoidbomb. Unfortunately, "from" doesn't sit right in this context. After mulling over the alternatives, I guess I will bite the bullet and add an apostrophe. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 16:50, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
