Mookajjiya Kanasugalu is a Kannada film based on the Jnanapitha award winning Novel of the same title by K. Shivaram Karanth.[1] The film is directed by P. Sheshadri and produced by Navyachitra Creations.,[2][3]

Production

The shooting of the film was started on October 10, 2018, to coincide with 116th birth anniversary of Karanth.[4] The film was shot in locales of coastal Karnataka, where the story revolves. Veteran actor B. Jayashree acted as mookajji. Aravind Kuplikar played the role of Subraya.,[5][6]
