I plan on improving this article and adding to it. I believe that civic journalism is a great idea, and integrating journalism into the democratic process would help inform voters and make them more aware of what is occurring in the political sphere. Including this, it could make a difference in the democratic process if all voters were equally informed. However, I believe an important aspect is ensuring that the information received by the public is all accurate and fact-checked. This is an important aspect that sometimes gives journalism, and certain news sources, a bad reputation. I hope to increase awareness on how accuracy in political news and journalism can enable voters to be more involved in the democratic process. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ishangill10 (talkcontribs) 06:27, 2 October 2019 (UTC) Potential Sources: https://library.cqpress.com/cqresearcher/document.php?id=cqresrre1996092000 https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1994-06-27-1994178061-story.html https://unlcms.unl.edu/journalism2/cojmc/alumni/jnews/archive/96_winter/civic.html http://www.civicjournalism.org/doingcj/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ishangill10 (talkcontribs) 06:39, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
