Demographics
For whatever reason the 2000 Census had the village being majority African American which does not line up with actual Census reports. The numbers were accurate, but the majority was White as listed in the link below, but changed to African American. It was the 2010 Census where the majority of the population became African American. This comparison chart from the below link has also been added. Please do not change the demographics back, they are now accurate as shown here:
