NantHealth is one of the constituent companies of NantWorks, which is controlled by Patrick Soon-Shiong. With headquarters in Culver City, California, the firm is focused on developing and marketing a range of healthcare solutions.[clarification needed][2]

In addition to Soon-Shiong, notable investors include Allscripts,[3] BlackBerry,[4] Kuwait Investment Authority,[5] Celgene,[6] and Verizon.[7]

In September 2014, NantHealth was featured as the cover story on Forbes Magazine, where it was estimated that NantHealth has a market value of $1.6 billion.[8] In December 2014, NantHealth was featured on 60 Minutes by Sanjay Gupta.[9] In August 2017, NantHealth signed a distribution agreement for GPS Cancer with Asia Genomics.[10]

In January 2019, NantHealth received a delisting warning from Nasdaq "because the Company’s common stock failed to maintain a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days."[11] At the time, the market value of the company was approximately $57m.[12]
