Declined submission for 1989-90 Norwich City F.C. season

I am very disappointed by your decision, since I'd already spoken to the person who moved it to Draft and they'd told me that the reference list was adequate and all but admitted that it was deleted by mistake. As I said to them, what more do you want? All of the information contained in the article came from the verifiable sources quoted. I'm getting the information from books because it's very doubtful you're going to find detailed information on 30-year-old transfers online. As I said to them, I can quote page references if necessary. But it seems to me that what I did was on a par, and in many cases superior, to similar articles of that vintage and more recent. So, what was so bad about it that it's considered not deserving of a place on Wikipedia? Skteosk (talk) 09:06, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Skteosk, For an article to pass AfC, it needs proper sourcing and inline citations. Snowycats (talk) 17:15, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you've already said that. Can you give me specifics? Can you tell me what is accepted as a "proper source"? Skteosk (talk) 09:12, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New York Food Truck Association

Hello, You recently rejected my article for looking like an essay. Can you please guide me how to fix this since my last attempt was deemed to be promotional. After reading the policies around this, I believe that the current article complies to all of them. Would really appreciate your help in this regard DavidfromNYFTA2 (talk) 15:04, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

DavidfromNYFTA2, Have you checked out WP:NPOV and WP:OVERCITE yet? Those would be great places to start. If you have specific questions on where you are confused, let me know. Snowycats (talk) 17:17, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline of submission for Renque page

Hi Snowycats,

Thank you for your swift review of my submission of draft page Renque.

You have declined my submission on the basis of insufficient inline citations. Being new to creating pages in Wikipedia I actually felt that my submission was quite richly provided with citations. Any chance on receiving a few hints on which sections of the text require additional citations?

Kind regards, --Cubespoke (talk) 16:50, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cubespoke, "Model construction and operation" has no in-line citations. Note: external links and inline citations are different. Snowycats (talk) 22:35, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to Help Request

Thank you for reviewing M. David Rudd. It looks like a few other users reviewed and made edits as well. Can you tell me more about the process for removing the message at the top of the page? It's my understanding that as a major contributor myself I am unable to remove that, but I'm a new user and unsure how the process works. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Hrowsey (talk) 18:20, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hrowsey, Hi. I did not review that article. :) Snowycats (talk) 22:35, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rejected Draft on missing the mark on notability.

Hello @snowycats, I cannot seem to reply to your reply asking for WP:THREE on behalf of the Draft: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Shaun_McClure) I hope you're able to see this post and the attached: PressReader, Arcade Attack and Spectrum Computing. Hope to hear back from you soon!

Wikisheep20 - It looks like [1] is user generated content. Could you please clarify who the author is? Snowycats (talk) 22:39, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi snowycats the author for that piece is Paul Davies, a freelance writer for Retro Gamer magazine. It was available in print too. Wikisheep20 (talk) 15:05, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

wanted help with some questions

there are some questions I need answers to so I contacted you

can I contact a reviewer by myself, show him/her my work, and the second question is if the reviewer makes a page does he need to review from another person ?? and If reviewing takes so much time then how about the latest issues are on Wikipedia so quick? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarimgilani (talkcontribs) 21:59, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sarimgilani, Your article was reviewed. Snowycats (talk) 22:39, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 00:33:36, 3 November 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Lnayar

Lnayar (talk) 00:33, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I submitted a revised draft with citations and external references as per requirement. There are plenty of paper cuttings in addition to the online references available but I think there is a significant amount of citations and references in place already and it might be overkill to add anymore. Since a couple of the excerpts added to the Wiki are from the subject's autobiography (that won an award), the citations states the context, chapter, page numbers etc.

Hope all this helps and thanks for the input received this far!

Also, I have no idea where else to move the page as an editor (Snowycat) already moved this page. Do let me know if an action is required from my side.

Best regards

Multiple Rejection for Abdullah Al-Nafisi

Hi Snowycats,

I noticed you rejected Draft:Abdullah_Al-Nafisi page multiple time citing that it doesn't meet Wikipedia minimum standard for inline citations.

While I'm new to editing wikipedia, I don't think the sources and citations are not enough. Can you please advise on whats exactly missing so I can improve? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkmatters1 (talkcontribs) 02:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Darkmatters1, "Abdullah Al-Nafisi has worked as a professor of political science at Kuwait University and at Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates." is unsourced. Snowycats (talk) 02:38, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Snowycats, It was actually referenced along with the next sentence, however I added more references, and linked the page with the Arabic Wiki article. Do you think this is enough to resubmit? DarkMatters (talk) 03:04, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings... You recently declined the draft Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta stating the reason as Submission is a BLP that does not meet minimum inline citation requirements, but the submission is not a biography of a living person (BLP). It is a Indian Marathi-language television drama series, which is quite clearly stated in the lede. So now I'm confused. If there is something wrong with the category tagging of the draft I'm unaware as the draft was created over two months ago by another editor. I only recently redeveloped it and submitted it for re-review. Being a television program that is broadcast nationally across India, the series is definitely notable as per NTV and also includes ten inline citations that cover the series in-depth. Sunshine1191 (talk) 02:53, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sunshine1191, You can ignore the edit summary - that is automatic. Your submission still fails WP:MINREF Snowycats (talk) 04:27, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My page, Christmas Mountains Caldera Complex

Hello, Im Blakedes2 and i created my third page, however it was declined due to lack of sourcing. The reason i am contacted you, is the reason For the lack of sourcing is Alot of the information on the page is all from My own research and/or one single source. I was wondering if that could work. Blakedes2 (talk) 16:36, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blakedes2, Wikipedia is not a place for original research if that is what you mean. Please read WP:MINREF. Snowycats (talk) 16:39, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok. How can i Get this approved? Blakedes2 (talk) 16:40, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Declined Draft: John Redmann

Afternoon Snowycats,

You recently rejected my draft article about the Hollywood producer John Redmann on the grounds of it sounding like an advertisement and that I didn't use footnotes properly. I'm afraid I've written this article to the best of my objective abilities. Is there a space on Wikipedia where I can request someone more skilled in Wikipedia editing take over from where I have left off, and improve upon my work to a point that would be satisfactory to Wikipedia?

Thank you for any advice you're willing to offer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charlie918 (talkcontribs) 21:27, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie918, There is not such a place, as it is still in draft space. Sadly, typically drafts only undergo major edits by their creator. Snowycats (talk) 03:35, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:Snowycats, User:Charlie918 - Occasionally one can ask a WikiProject to look at a draft. Have you considered asking someone at WikiProject Film to help you? Robert McClenon (talk) 05:22, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Snowycats, you recently declined my draft, it was actually waiting to be accepted by another reviewer, who after I explained the notability to, was going through the process of deletion review see here [2]. I know there's no way to revert a decline so it's okay, have a good day. Delta fiver (talk) (UTC) 03:11, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delta fiver, Great, seems like it is pending review from an admin. Snowycats (talk) 03:34, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You declined this draft, and I had previously declined it twice, citing the deletion discussion. However, User:Delta fiver has presented arguments that I consider good arguments, including the naming of a post office for him. Did you decline the draft, knowing those arguments? I am asking because I am willing to take it to Deletion Review for authorization to review the draft. Are you willing to discuss? Robert McClenon (talk) 04:43, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Robert McClenon, I was not aware, until they brought it up, as seen above your message on your talk page. :) I have no further comment because I see fit the reason I declined it for. Snowycats (talk) 05:08, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: JioNews

Hi Snowycats, Thank you taking the time to review my article. I have revised the article, reduced the content and have corrected the tone. Kept relevant information and credible citation only. Kindly re-review my article if you still feel there are some specific changes to be made request you to highlight the content. Rohit TrivediWP (talk) 10:05, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: Medical Women's Association of Nigeria (MWAN) may be deleted at any time unless copied text is removed. Copyrighted work cannot be allowed to remain on Wikipedia.

Hiya snow, snowy (meow :)

Could you possibly specify (please) the text to which you're referring? I reckoned I should be able to use text in that article even though it may appear elsewhere, by virtue of being co-author Textor Alector (talk) 14:37, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
