Early life and education
[edit]Lia Cook was born in 1942, in Ventura, California to James Paul and Esther Miriam Holman Polese. She moved in the first year of her birth to the San Francisco Bay area. . She received her bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1965, and Masters in Art and Design in 1973. University of California, Berkeley.[2]
