From the publicity stills, and the story narration it seems to be 'inspired' from the Hollywood Film Derailed starring Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston.
Plot
The story is about Sarath who is a married man to Jyothika, but starts an affair with Andrea. He is later blackmailed by Milind Soman who finds out about his affair. The rest of the story is about how Sarath tries to make up for his mistakes.

- It was previously titled as Vilai Uyirendraalum (Even If The Price Is Life Itself), Parandhu (Eagle) and Silandhi (Spider).
- Andrea's character was originally slated for Simran then Shobana then Tabu but all the three heroines did not want to play second heroine to Jyothika.
