Glauk Konjufca (born 25 July 1981) is a Kosovan activist, journalist and politician serving as Chairman of the Assembly and acting President of Kosovo since 22 March 2021. He was previously member of the Assembly, leader of the Vetëvendosje parliamentary group, chairman of the Assembly, and Minister of Foreign Affairs[a].
Politics
During his studies in the University of Pristina, Konjufca was the vice-director of the organization Center for Rights. In 2010 he was elected as a deputy of Vetëvendosje and is the editor of its official weekly journal. He was one of the Vice Presidents of the Assembly of Kosovo.[1] On 26 December 2019, Konjufca was elected Chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo with 75 votes in favor, 27 against and 6 abstains. On 22 March 2021, Konjufca was re-elected Chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo with 69 votes in favor and 33 against.[2]
