The X Factor series 4 is due to be broadcast from august to december 2007. Auditions are due to take place in late spring in the cities of London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and Belfast. There has been no official announcement from ITV or SyCo regarding the show's fourth run, other than the audition cities and dates. However press rumours have speculated about the fate of some of the show's cast. Several stories have claimed that Cowell is considering axing Sharon Osbourne [1] from the show due to her, in his opinion, rude behaviour towards British TV Presenter Chris Tarrant during a live show of the third series [2]. Further more, Kate Thornton's role of hosted has been questioned by many fans of the show.
