Comment

I have never seen so many barnstars in a user page before. Anyways this might sound kind of funny or weird but before I seen your userbox template that said you where jewish I thought you where Asian or chinese. What does Ryulong stand for anyways?King Lopez 03:47, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's Japanese (Ryū) and Chinese (Lóng) for dragon, which I was interested in when I first came up with the nickname, and I've been too lazy to think of another one.—Ryūlóng () 03:49, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

My response to Ilena's continued personal atacks all over the place (as well as my offer to her) can be found here. -- Fyslee 11:24, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Midna article

I would love to help out, but am currently only halfway through the game.  :( If you can't get anyone else, though, I'll go ahead and look it over. Spoilers be damned. -- Merope 20:52, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's more along the line of "was I wrong in violating 3RR to uphold both WP:SPOILER and WP:FU/the image policy?"—Ryūlóng () 20:53, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

I totally missed that. Keep up the good work! alphachimp 20:58, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem—Ryūlóng () 21:04, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I was trying to revert back, but I was unable to get back far enough. Thanks for straightening it out. --Petercorless 21:08, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem.—Ryūlóng () 21:09, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Den-O Assistance

Being the idiot I am, I forgot the add in the romanization for everything in the article. You seem to be good at it, could you give it a try? I'll work on the image in the meantime. Floria L 01:13, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated you for adminship, see your RfA with the link above. Good luck Somitho 06:29, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I threw in a co-nom so I could have a chance to rave about how awesome you are :-) --Michael Billington (talkcontribs) 09:24, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking of the Piotr Blass AfD page

With regards to [1]:

You say that "Dr Blass abused the process". How? Even if he really did take advantage of the blanking in some way, I think you should tell Jimbo Wales to undo his own blanking rather than take it upon yourself to undo the actions of someone who's the "supreme authority" around here. Just my $0.02. Flyingtoaster1337 07:34, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See the discussion Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#Piotr Blass for why I did so.—Ryūlóng () 07:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation. Flyingtoaster1337 07:42, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem.—Ryūlóng () 07:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI (2nd)

Merope (talk · contribs) is a female, based on a userpage box and the fact that Merope in Greek mythology was a female (foster mother, daughter, wife). Hbdragon88 23:23, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Whats_her_face.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Whats_her_face.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECUtalk 00:04, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have deprecated it with a font hack, .—Ryūlóng () 04:10, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that image has since been orphaned by someone adding a new version to the original image Image:Apple glyph.png and reverting all links from the image I uploaded. Please speedy delete it, it is redundant. Nihiltres 04:14, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: that font hack does not show up for me! Do not use it, since it won't show up for many users, if it does not show up for me (standard installation of Mac OSX 10.4.8, the latest version) Nihiltres 04:33, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I realize it now.—Ryūlóng () 04:34, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Capella University Issue

Thank you for intervening on the Capella University matter. It appears as if the user in question may also be using a Capella University IP address User_talk:68.117.38.94 which has been previously warned for vandalism. Shac1 05:14, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks also for putting request for speedy deletion regarding the vandalism to my user page. What steps, if any, do I need to take in order to get it removed? Shac1 05:53, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{db-owner}} also works.—Ryūlóng () 05:54, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
