Celebrate Bandra is an initiative of the Celebrate Bandra Trust and Fountainhead Promotions & Events Pvt. Ltd. It is a two-week-long celebration where people from Bandra and all the nooks & corners of Mumbai come together in celebration.

History

It all began when several individuals and organizations realized how rich and textured Bandra life was, and how worthy it was of salutation. And that is why in November 2003, all of Bandra came together in a unique celebration of culture, colour, vibrancy and entertainment.

Spearheaded by several Resident's Associations (Bandra West Residents Association, Bandra Bandstand Residents Trust Federation of H/W Ward Citizens Trust & Bandra Reclamation Area Volunteers Organization) and Fountainhead Promotions and Events Pvt. Ltd., Celebrate Bandra 2003 served as a model example of the suburb's many talents and inherent cultural harmony.

Since 2003, its was held in 2005 and will now continue to be held in or around November of every alternate year.

Food Festival

Held on the Saturday of the closing weekend, the Food Festival is a huge food court with varied cuisines from all over India and the world. It usually commences late in the evening stretches into the night. Participants range from individuals to restaurants and fast food chains. Various food related competitions such as Bake-Offs are also held for individuals. The Bandra Gymkhana has been the venue to the Food Festival both in 2003 and in 2005.

Pali Haat

Pali Haat is one of the festivities of Celebrate Bandra. It is organized by The Pali Hill Residents Association (PHRA) and located along a 1km(0.621 miles) stretch of road on Pali Hill. There are various individual stalls selling food & beverages, carnival type games, tattoo painters, stationary, clothing & textiles, home decor, accessories etc. At the heart of it all is a Stage with performers(musical and/or dance) and a dance floor.
