Today I've noticed that my IP address was blocked on 23 August and the block is still active. I had never had a problem with editing before a few days ago but I managed to solve the problem by changing the profile passworld (I had received an email saying that someone had requested a reset of my passworld). Today this problem has repeated but I haven't received any email saying that someone had changed the passworld. At the moment I can only send mail and use my talk page. (Non-administrator comment) Hi @Dr Salvus, this is normal behavior if your IP address has been blocked as typically you can only edit your talk page and send emails when you or your IP address is blocked. You can log out and appeal the block, or [[follow the instructions at WP:IPBLOCK to add a flag to your account that will circumvent IP blocks on your account. WP:UTRS is one option, as you may need to provide some information that you don't want to divulge in public, like your IP /location / email. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't unblock the IP because I don't know which IP you are using. This is why it is better to just use the ticket system.
