ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Sumitmpsd. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

MedPlus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added a link pointing to Tilak Nagar

Hello, Sumitmpsd. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Krimo Salem, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Request reason:

Dear administrator's I understand the blocking administrator concern and i did that mistake but truly in my beginning days (when i joined Wikipedia) i was not aware about "sockblock", my intention to make more Wikipedia user accounts was not to do any harmful or invalid activities beyond Wikipedia polices, i just wanted to do things separately but now I realised i was wrong and i accept that i made a mistake and i am very sorry for that :( i assure here that i will not repeat such mistake again in future and will not do any invalid activity beyond Wikipedia polices. Respectable administrator's kindly guide me to do better thing to be a good contributor here on Wikipedia i will welcome all good guidance & please unblock me so that i will be able to do some "significant" contribution again as per Wikipedia polices/guidelines. Thanks :) . Sumit 19:26, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 14:31, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

  • Dear Yamla the block is no longer necessary because now i understand why I have been blocked because I created multiple accounts User:Metrosingh User:Randomlike User:Rubberw And i used above mentioned accounts in an Inappropriate uses of alternative accounts (Contributing to the same page with multiple accounts) * I will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and any edit with multiple accounts and I will use only user:sumitmpsd as one and only account to do useful contributions and will never use these below accounts to contribute to the same page with multiple accounts (I want to delete them) User:Metrosingh User:Randomlike User:Rubberw and in future i will make useful contributions instead. (Respectable admin To know about my past contribution you may also check my contribution history I have done several useful contribution) Thanks :)

Decline reason:

Thank you for listing your other accounts. Unfortunately, sockpuppetry results in the community losing the ability to trust you. I do not see evidence of other problems on your talk page, so I will propose the WP:SO Standard offer. If any other admin feels like I'm being foolish in tendering it, they may retract it. Simply put, you will make no edits for 6 months from the date of your last edit. After the six months have passed, you may present your case for us to unblock you. Other stipulations may be added at that time. You will under no circumstance edit using another account or without logging in. It is likely the community will ask a checkuser to confirm your adherence to these terms. Each time you edit, the 6 month timer will reset. You will make no further appeals for 6 months. That should be after july 23, 2018. See you then. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 09:25, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
