Klaus-Uwe Gerhardt (*22 May 1955 in Offenbach/M.) is a German social scientist whose work focuses on the labour market and social policy.

In the 1980s, Gerhardt was one of the pioneers of the German discussion on a guaranteed minimum income. Today, he works as an economics teacher and freelance social scientist and economist.

With his publications and essays, he is one of the high-profile representatives of the current social reform discussion. He advocates the political demand for a "guaranteed minimum income".
