- Collage of multiple images. For one of them, see Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:Partners and Cinderella.jpg. I'm not sure if File:Gatorland entrance -Florida-23Feb2006.jpg passes Commons:COM:FOP#United States either. Stefan2 (talk) 00:11, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- File:Steve Ince 2.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- The uploader removed my {{di-no license}} and {{di-no permission}} tags without assessing any of the problems pointed out. Stefan2 (talk) 12:46, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm the uploader. The page was started by User:Gamnos, who contacted Steve Ince if he could use his Facebook profile picture, and he allowed him. I also asked him through chat if he could tell me a bit info to add to theimage (who took the photo etc). He said that he'd rather send me a picture that he took himself using a camera on a tripod... So, he allowed me to do so, told me who took the pictures? What else is there to say? - I guess, if you want, you can ask him yourself? Best, --Khanassassin ☪ 12:50, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Permission needs to be sent to OTRS and it needs to be released under a free licence. See WP:CONSENT for more information. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:00, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- I will send it to "permissions-enwikimedia.org", is that good? :) --Khanassassin ☪ 13:20, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- If you also add an @ sign at the right place, yes. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:00, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- No hits on Google, but the date in {{Information}} is significantly different to the date in the EXIF and the author in {{Information}} differs significantly from the user name. The user has got a few images deleted as no source. Stefan2 (talk) 14:02, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- I'm not convinced that this image is free. The uploader's other image, File:Muslim ahmad 2.png ([[1]]), is a blatant copyright violation and this one looks suspicious (low resolution, same guy, no EXIF). Stefan2 (talk) 19:08, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was: Erroneous Nomination. When following the listing instructions (step 2), you need to replace "Image_name.ext
" with the actual name of the file. You'll also want to put your reason for deletion just after "reason=
". Feel free to just replace this entire section with the corrected template. If you are still having trouble, ask for help at WT:PUF or at my talk page. AnomieBOT⚡ 20:12, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- I'm not convinced that this is free. The same user uploaded File:Group-locomondo.jpg which is a collage of this image and another image. The other image is non-free and I suspect that this one also is non-free. Stefan2 (talk) 19:56, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Obviously wrong PD reason, might be PD because of age, e.g. as {{PD-US-1923-abroad}}, but there is no information about any publication of this image. Stefan2 (talk) 20:02, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- City of Vancouver Archives, Item number A-8-3.2 Not sure how to put this information on the photograph's page.Alexwarren89 (talk)
- That is not a publication year. I tried looking up the photo by searching for it in the archives, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of any publication, making it impossible to prove the United States copyright status. The photographer appears to have died in 1970, which is less than 70 years ago, so it is not in the public domain in the United States as unpublished. If it was published in Canada before 1924, or elsewhere before 1923, it is in the public domain in the United States (as {{PD-US-1923-abroad}} if published before 1923 or as {{PD-URAA}} if published in Canada in 1923). If it was published later, it might or might not be copyrighted. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:52, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Also here with an unfree licence and an earlier upload date and here with a modification date from 2010. Uploader claims to be the Flickr guy but there is no way to confirm that from the Flickr pages and besides Facebook seems to be two years earlier than Flickr anyway. This needs OTRS. - The photo comes from the Law Firm of Arnold Weiner's files. It was taken by Maximillian Franz for the firm, which paid Mr. Franz to take the picture and which owns the rights to the picture. As the managing partner of the firm, I am authorized to reprint it on this page. Blgogel (talk)
