Seymour S. Aliyev (Say Moor, Azerbaijani: Seymur Samir oğlu Əliyev; born July 30, 1987) — Azerbaijani music producer, performer, composer, sound director, head of "KotaMedia Records" sound studio (since 2016), Berrytune Music label and Berrytune Digital, Inc. Founder of music broadcasting company, former director of Azerbaijan International Film Company (2019-2020).[1]
In December 2020, "Berrytune Digital, Inc." founded a music publishing and distribution company. In a short time, he managed to establish close cooperation with Believe Music, Yandex and YouTube.
Early life
Seymur Samir oglu Aliyev was born on July 30, 1987 in the city of Baku.[1][2]
He graduated from the Republican Art Gymnasium in 2005. He graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts in 2008. In connection with his education, he also visited countries such as Russia, Iran and Turkey.[1]
Career
Activities as a sound director
Seymour, who began his career in sound design in 2009 in private studios in Baku, received an offer from GFA Pro in Moscow, Russia in 2011 and left.
In 2014, Seymur Aliyev returned to Baku. In the same year, ANS Group of Companies continued its activities in BakuFilm and BalAns studios. In 2015, he studied sound engineering in Tehran, Iran. In the same year, Seymur Aliyev undertook to direct the sound in the film "Bloody January" (Azerbaijani: Qanlı Yanvar), directed by Vahid Mustafayev.
Since 2016, he has been the head of KotaMedia Baku Sound Studio. In 2017, Seymur Aliyev continued his career as a sound director in many films - "The Second Curtain" (Azerbaijani: İkinci pərdə), "Hannas" Azerbaijani: Xənnas), "Angel's Kiss" (Azerbaijani: Mələyin öpüşü), "Tahmin and Zaur" (Azerbaijani: Təhmin və Zaur).
In 2019, he was appointed director of the Azerbaijan International Film Company. At the same time, he continued to work as a sound director in many films shot under the company's leadership - "Goodbye, Schmidt!" (Azerbaijani: Əlvida, Şmidt!), "Maiden Tower" (Azerbaijani: Qız Qalası), "Sidestreet" (Azerbaijani: Dalan), "The Last Curtain" (Azerbaijani: Sonuncu pərdə), "Bomalti" (Azerbaijani: Bomaltı), "Taxi Lisa" (Azerbaijani: Taksi Liza), "Aporia" (Azerbaijani: Aporiya), "Black Eyes" (Azerbaijani: Qaragöz), "Thin Matter" (Azerbaijani: Nazik mətləb). He resigned voluntarily in March 2020.
In 2020, he directed the soundtrack for The Love Novel. [12] At the same time, in April 2020, he acted as a sound director in the short animated film "April Battles" about the April 2016 battles and the Lalatapa operation.
