Criswell has never been a dispensationalist college, though we have had some dispensationalist professors. Our statement of faith requires for professors to be pre-millenialists, but that can include non-dispensationalists who are historic pre. - Unsigned

Criswell was founded as a Dispensationalist school just as DTS was. Dr. Bryant, who wrote the school's SOF has pointed it out in the document and taught it as such.Hungus (talk) 18:17, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are mistaken in your understanding of the relationship with SACS as well as your understanding of dispensationalism. I would be happy to discuss both items with you over the phone. - Unsigned

I am mistaken in neither. Criswell was under a warning for Financial Irregularities and is now currently under a warning for academics. I have linked to the specific documents. Further, my area of historical research is the rise of fundamentalism in late 19 and early 20th century America: specifically the founding of the Bible Colleges such as DTS, Biola and Moody. When Criswell comes off of Warning this fall (assuming it does) then the section will be removed and moved to the history section. Hungus (talk) 21:22, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Criswell College shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
