Why is the Buffalo mass murderer on Wikipedia under Conklin, NY? Shameless...disgusting!

It's widely reported Gendron travelled from Conklin to Buffalo to commit the mass murder. Jjjimg (talk) 14:29, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Curious, any sources on racism in Conklin NY? Why is the town only 1% Black?
The demographics section says that the town of Conklin is only 1% Black. Are Black people being discriminated against in housing / real estate there? Why such a strangely low number?
Have Black people been pushed out of there? Only 1% Black is a suspicious number in upstate New York.
Does anyone have any sources on racism in Conklin NY? If it's there, are there any sources about anything that is being done about it?

- It's obviously a very topical discussion, and worth looking into for that reason; but the demographics of Conklin don't seem to be too atypical of the area. Other places listen under Broome County have less that 1% African American (e.g. Kirkwood 0.6%, Chenango 0.5% and Nanticoke 0.2%) Connelly90 07:36, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
