Curtain Call 2 is the second greatest hits album by American rapper Eminem. A double album, it is a successor of his previous greatest hits album, Curtain Call: The Hits, which was released in 2005, and covers the most recent years of Eminem's career, starting from the release of Relapse in 2009. It was released on August 5, 2022, under Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records.[1] The album also includes 3 new songs, "The King and I" featuring CeeLo Green (featured in the soundtrack of the film Elvis), "From the D 2 the LBC" featuring Snoop Dogg and "Is This Love ('09)" featuring 50 Cent.[2]

Critical Reception

Curtain Call 2 has currently received mixed ratings from critics. The compilation album's first mainstream review came from Drew Millard at Pitchfork who stated, "The rapper’s second greatest hits compilation collects some nice singles, but mostly feels like the portrait of a wayward artist who’s spent the last 13 years going in every direction."[3] The next review came from Robin Murray at Clash magazine who said, "Curtain Call 2 is bold in its intention, an attempt to broaden the scope of Eminem’s career, and shuffle away from the fixation on his tabloid-baiting peak. Placed side by side, however, and there’s simply no comparison."[4]
