My name is Marek Poláček. I'm 28 years old, I'm translating English language articles to Czech on Wikipedia, starting to do translation the other way around as well, and I discuss with other users. I'm also active on Wikimedia Commons where I mainly upload my own photos and fix small errors in my own and other files as well. You'll also find me on Czech, Polish and Slovak Wikipedia, and I also edit Czech Wikivoyage incubator.

About me

Aside of editing articles in Wikipedia, I also do some programming tasks for hobby. I'm creating various utility apps, community program content for videogames, like Minecraft Spigot plugins, mods, scripts, datapacks and resource packs for Minecraft, I also participate in modding for games with ID Tech 3 engine (like Quake III Arena). I also make bots for Discord. I might also make some utilities and bots for Wikipedia in future. I mainly create in C, C++, C# .NET, Java, JavaScript and Python.
More hobbies would be photography (some of my photos may be in my gallery, They're also in Commons), level design, webdesign, 3D modelling and playing card games. I mostly translate articles from foreign mutations to Czech on Wikipedia as of now, but I would like to contribure with my own knowledge and skills in my own hobbies and professions, with references to other literature and Internet sources. I'm a student, and I'm beginning to create content on YouTube and Twitch.
