A tag has been placed on Equipment (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.

That wasn't right

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the plot summary of my user page have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my discussion page. Thank you for your cooperation.

I noticed your reverts of my edits at Roof tent. Where a link to a disambiguation page is the best link then the guidance at WP:INTDAB suggest that the use of "(disambiguation)" is most appropriate. "This makes it clear that such links are intended to point to the disambiguation page." Hope this helps— Rod talk 16:49, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please confirm why you are adding this to one image, taking up much space? And looking silly. Are you running an automated process? I can see from my watchlist you've done others, but not yet accessed as yet until I get a better understanding. Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:40, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Rocknrollmancer My intention is to center the image/file for visual effect. Peter Horn User talk 23:49, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can you show me where in MOS this is supported? "visual effect" to me is a cosmetic edit, and retrograde. It is not possible to have one image in Gallery - plain silly; gallery is by definition an array. Leave it with you to research your answer. I was prompted by a recent case at AN/I where someone was making thousands of automated edits breaking standard protocols, and much coding. I suspect you are doing similarly, deviating from standard appearance throughout the project. Back in a few minutes. Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:56, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
