Rinku Ghosh
Rinku Ghosh (born 30th, August 1981) is one of the most phenomenal Indian Actress of the Television and Bhojpuri Films Industry. She got her recognition for her work in T.V serial Durgesh Nandini (2007), Daroga Babu I Love You (2004), Bidai (2008), Balidaan (2009), Saat Saheliyan (2010), Pammi Pyarelal TV Serial (2013) and Ganga Jamuna Saraswati (2013). She artistically contributed to assorted popular roles in variety of languages like Hindi,[1] Telugu, Bengali and Bhojpuri films. Among several other accolades, she was honored with the Best Actress Award in 2008 Bhojpuri Film Awards.
Early Life
Rinku Ghosh was born on 30th August, 1981 in Kerala, India in a Bengali Hindu Family. Her father Mr. Durgadas Ghosh is a retired Ex-Navy officer who served Indian Navy for several years and her mother Late Mrs. Chanda Ghosh was a home maker. She also has a younger sibling. Her younger sister was studious whereas Rinku Ghosh was not much inclined towards her academics. However, since her childhood she took great interest in art related fields such as dance and drama. She is a Distinction holder in Bharatnatyam and holds a degree (Veesharad) in the same as well. She Started her career in TVC's such as Medimix, Rexona, Kelvinator etc and post this she further explored the film industry and Television Industry.

Television serials
Rinku Ghosh commenced her acting career in the television industry with the popular serial titled as Durgesg Nandini as a lead actress which was telecasted on Sony TV in 2007. Further she was seen in Mohe Rang De as the main antagonist on Colors TV in 2008. She was also known for her performance in Ek Safar Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha in 2009. In 2012, she appeared in Dhaniya Ka Thana which was aired on Anjan TV. In 2013, she played the role of Mohini Faujdar in the popular sitcom Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal (a comedy Drama) on Colors TV and in Imtihaan Bhojpuri T.V. seriak in 2010 Mahua T.V. Later in 2018 she appered as a Celebrity Judge for the show Big Memsaab on Big Ganga Channel and in 2021, she was a Celebrity Judge for Memsaab No 1 which was telecast on Zee Ganga.

Filmography
Rinku Ghosh started her acting career in films after making her debut in a Bengali film "Jai Maa Durga" in which she was casted opposite Deboshree Roy, Arun Govil and Late Abhishek Chatterjee in 2000. She made her Telugu debut in a film "Raave Na Chaliya" with Sai Kiran as a co-actor in 2001. In 2002, she was seen in a Hindi Feature Film "Bharat Bhagya Vidhata" (as Sapna) along with Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Prada, Chandrachur Singh and Puru Rajkumar. The year 2003 saw her multiple film releases such as Hindi Feature Film "Tumse Milke Wrong Number" with the co-actors Rakesh Bapat and Vrajesh Hirjee and "Koi Hai" with Aman Verma. She did her first Bhojpuri Motion Picture in the superhit films "Suhagan Bana Sajna Hamaar"" with the leading actor of the Bhojpuri Industry Ravi Kishan and Avinash Wadhawan in 2004. In 2005, she worked in a Hindi Feature Film titled "Mumbai Godfather" casting along with Seema Biswas and Govind Namdev. After working in several Bhojpuri FIlms, her graph only elevated in Bhojpuri Cinema and Rinku Ghosh who is often called as Dream Girl and Beauty Queen of the Bhojpuri Industry, gave back to back Bhojpuri hits such as "Daroga Babu I Love You" with Manoj Tiwari, "Balidaan" with Ravi Kishan, "Saat Saheliyan", "Rakhwala" with Dinesh Lal Yadav, "Nagina" with Pradeep Pandey (Chintu) and many more.

Rinku Ghosh has won various awards due to her colossal talent. She has won the Best Actress Award in 2008 for the film Bidai in ceremony of Fourth Bhojpuri Film Awards. Further more in the same year she also got nominated for her pipular work in Durgesh Nandini as a Critics Award in Indian Television Academy Awards. In Bhojpuri Film Awards, she got honored with the Best Actress Award for Balidan in 2009. Bidaai proved to be a complete turnover of her life and she received the Best Film Actress Award in Apki Awaz Press Media Award in 2009. She had contented many awards for her acting skills later in her life.
