January 2010

[edit]

I dont know what i did? Can you explain? Stephen001--Stephen 0001 (talk) 17:04, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The edit you made to the page appeared to remove a sizeable amount of content without any obvious reason. If it was constructive, then please accept my humble apologies, and make the edit again, though I'd suggest using the edit summary feature. if you need any help, do get in touch. HJMitchell You rang? 17:10, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have accidentally copied some information twice and I am trying to delete it. Some of the 2004 Notable deals are repeated in 2007. I am just trying to erase them. Stephen001--Stephen 0001 (talk) 17:12, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. My apologies. Drop me a line if you need a hand in future! HJMitchell You rang? 17:16, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually if you have any tips on how to improve the article and get rid of the Messages at the top of the page it would be great? Stephen001--Stephen 0001 (talk) 17:17, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken care of the warnings fro you! You're allowed to edit your own talk page to remove comments if you want to (but not to change what other people say). As for the article, let me have a quick look and I'll see what I can do! HJMitchell You rang? 17:26, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have a number of secondary sources listed are these not good enough and I have listed numerous different sites Openet has been published on or mentioned. Is this not helping?? Stephen001--Stephen 0001 (talk) 21:54, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On further inspection, many of the sources look good- definitely enough for notability. I'd suggest you make sure all the info you can glean from theses sources goes into the article. The best ref (at a glance) is the Irish Times article which is definitely enough to establish notability. I haven't checked (insufficient time right now) the others, but, assuming they check out, the highbeam and accesmylibrary articles should be fine- if you cna find the original news articles, that would be ideal, but, frankly, it might be more effort than it's worth. I'll take a look tomorrow in more detail, I promise! I don't know about you, but I'm on GMT (UTC), so I'll probably be back in ~12 hours. All the best and keep up the good work. Hi HJ Mitchell, You gave me some good advice in the past and I was wondering if you may be able to point me in the right direction again. A warning message has appeared at the Top of my Openet page suggesting it reads too much like promotional material. However everything that is stated is factual, on top of this I have left a negative comment on the page about a current dispute the Company is in over intellectual rights? Any advice oh how to get rid of this message would be appreciated. Stephen 0001 (talk) 11:49, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

Hi. Some friendly advice. If you are associated with a company whose page you edit, you might take a look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest . One advice there is to declare the COI on your user page. Please forgive me if this does not apply to you. 195.212.29.95 (talk) 10:03, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

Hi Stephen, below is a standard template I use to provide instructions to PR editors with a COI. The Openet article came on my radar as I was patrolling articles that mention "industry-leading." In most cases I delete these articles entirely or sometimes trim them down to a paragraph (mostly spam). Based on your Talk page comment, you appear to be acting in good-faith, so I'll offer some detailed feedback on Talk on how to improve the article. Orphaned non-free media (File:Openet 3D tag white.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Openet 3D tag white.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 14:50, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
