odd name originally used as a DAB. Not really useful as a redirect noq (talk) 17:14, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete - created by page move in days before could suppress the redirect creation. Keith D (talk) 17:25, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete per Keith D --Lenticel (talk) 13:05, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was keep. Note that during this discussion, Adamdaley moved the former target to 28th Indiana Infantry Regiment (Colored), and JPaestpreornJeolhlna retargeted accordingly. --BDD (talk) 16:57, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- 28th Regiment Indiana Infantry (Colored) → 28th Regiment United States Colored Troops (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
I am in the process of making List of Indiana Civil War regiments article names the same. For example "28th Indiana Infantry Regiment (Colored)" once the rename is done and the current redirect is deleted I'll link it to the 28th Regiment United States Colored Troops article. Adamdaley (talk) 05:51, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't understand what you're asking for. Do you want this article to be moved to 28th Regiment Indiana Infantry (Colored)? Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 16:08, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Both names were used, but the names I used in making the original List of Indiana Civil War regiments came from Dyer's Compendium, which I took as the authoritative source. --Cuppysfriend (talk) 23:48, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Keep. According to what the nom said above, this redirect is a formerly used name for the regiment and perhaps a historic name? (I sorted it into the Redirects from former names category, but maybe it should populate the Redirects from historic names category?) – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 18:02, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Unnecessary and unused cross-namespace redirect. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:44, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete XNR -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 07:58, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete as cross namespace redirect.--Lenticel (talk) 10:49, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
- Keep. There are lots of shortcuts from mainspace to other namespaces. It's important to categorize them as unprintworthy, not to delete them. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 20:37, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
- Delete - If this was actually used I'd probably think differently, but this cross-namespace redirect is unnecessary. TCN7JM 10:56, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
