Hi @Jimfbleak, my article, Draft: Keith Pilbeam, was not written by the person in question and I wrote it, having no connection to him. I am very disappointed that you thought it was advertising and self promotion because it wasn't. I put a lot of hard work into that draft and you deleted it! The only reason that the only source was that certain page was because that website, was the only one I could find with good information, and of course the Information comes from a web page about Keith, where else do you think I can get info about a person from?! Please contribute with edits and suggestions to make it better, instead of just deleting MY hard work without a thought. And DO NOT just repeat, 'Unambiguous advertising or promotion: self written vanity page'. Give me a GOOD reason why you deleted it, and didn't just edit it or at the very least suggest edits. Or were you just being a pain in the backside?!

Antonio Politi

Hi @Jimfbleak, am I wrong or you just deleted the page I have created for Antonio Politi? He is a very respected scientist in the complex systems and nonlinear dynamics community, with a relevant and highly cited corpus of work, see e.g.: https://scholar.google.be/citations?user=K_rUMrQAAAAJ&hl=en

Can you please tell me, in your opinion, which should be the criteria for the inclusion or the lack of a scientist in wikipedia? See for instance the existing page of Ginestra Bianconi or Stefano Boccaletti to cite just two wiki pages for colleagues unknown to the wider public.

Dear Jimfbleak, you just removed the biography of Antonio Politi (theoretical physicists), we wrote such a page together with colleagues to prepare the candidature of Antonio Politi to a European Prize in Physics. What I would suggest is to separate the books from the journal articles in your publication list, and give them isbn numbers instead of the doi, that's the standard practice for books. Hi Jim, I effectively declined your G11 for the article, but I confess that after I pruned it into a stub, it might have been better to delete it. I think part of it is that it's a college. If it were a lower-level school, I probably would have deleted it. List of Parkruns in the United Kingdom

It's a shame this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Parkruns_in_the_United_Kingdom ) has been deleted. It had the parkruns listed by county - very useful information for parkrun "regionnaires", which is not available on the main parkrun page (https://www.parkrun.org.uk/). The latter only shows a map. Much Wenlock, Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and articles get a page here by being notable, having independent verifiable sources and a neutral tone. We are not a help page for parkrun, and its usefulness there is not a criterion here. The page was deleted after this discussion. Iggyplatinum, I think you are misunderstanding two things. Firstly, your user page is to tell us about your activities on Wikipedia, not to draft articles,and secondly, the requirement for an article to appear here is that they meet our notability guidelines; whether they are murderers, criminals or rocket scientists is irrelevant. Ianlopez1115 the original OMG was 22kb of pure spam, the version as deleted by me was two sentences with a self-source ref, article guided by a socking UPE. However, your query picked up Draft:One Mega Group. It's pretty promotional, with YouTube, Instagram and Facebook among its sources too, but you'll need to start there. It's basically spam with few real facts about the company (financials, employees etc), and with obvious UPE editing, so I'm happy to delete it.
