Two questions re. The Great Fire of Key West[edit]

1. From “Arson speculation” - What is a Spanish ram? One was “waiting to take on any unemployed Cuban cigar workers who wanted to return to Cuba”.

2. In “The Aftermath” - What does wood have to do with the wrecking business? “… lumber was readily available in Key West due to the wrecking business”. 2601:8C0:801:2570:64B4:CC7A:415A:56D2 (talk) 23:16, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
