Orphaned non-free image File:Logo DISNEY CHANNEL.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Logo DISNEY CHANNEL.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hey, thanks.

[edit]

Thanks for moving this file to the commons. You don't mind updating the file, do you? I've just registered onto the commons, but I can't upload anything yet. Anyway, I went to this website and found a PDF file that contains better quality versions of the current logos for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, Nick Jr., TeenNick, and Nicktoons. If you don't mind, would you update the following (File:Nick_at_Nite_logo_2009.svg, File:Nick_Jr._logo_2009.svg, File:TeenNick_logo_2009.svg, File:Nicktoons_Network_logo_2009.svg)?

Again, thanks.

For you

[edit]

Remember, if you're going to add or suggest information that can be challenged for an article, make sure you can verify it. For you see WP:V is one of Wikipedia's five pillars that runs this site. On that note, I'm just going to place these sources here and hope you'll put them to some good use. ;) [1] [2] If things continue to get nowhere, ask for help here. Can you help me?

[edit]

Hey,

I need your help with reverting a page move, User:T1T1T1T1T1T1T1T1T1T1 spitted up Nickelodeon (Netherlands & Flanders) into Nickelodeon (Netherlands) & Nickelodeon (Belgium) but this is incorrect. As you know i can't change the name back to Nickelodeon (Netherlands & Flanders) the right way because that is still a redirect. Can you look at it for me? I hope you can/want to help me! Greatz W.G. | W.G.'s user talk 12:45, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WG,
I've moved the article back to Nickelodeon (Netherlands & Flanders) and redirected the "Belgium" article, since they aren't separate channels and there's apparently a French-language version in Walloon. Hope this helps! Best, Firsfron of Ronchester 13:56, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited The Closer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2BE (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Mobistar a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Orange (Belgium). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
