Bibliography by war

[edit]

The bibliography should be divided by wars, because there are many very important titles missing (especially from non-English speaking countries) but adding more titles without dividing the list in sections might make it unreadable.--213.140.21.227 (talk) 09:54, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Military fiction

[edit]

I created a redirect here from military fiction, but it is probably a broader subject that deserves a separate article. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 02:00, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Hood

[edit]

The section about history talks about how the early war novels from the 17th century were picaresque and featured roguish/rakish and unrealistic characters. Would the various Robin Hood legends qualify, then, as war novels? You've got the rogue hero Robin Hood on the home front in the aftermath of one of the Crusades. --Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû (blah?) 04:16, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WorldCat Genres

[edit]

Hello, I'm working with OCLC, and we are algorithmically generating data about different Genres, like notable Authors, Book, Movies, Subjects, Characters and Places. We have determined that this Wikipedia page has a close affintity to our detected Genere of war-stories. It might be useful to look at [1] for more information. Thanks.
