Leg or face[edit]

A hand puppet ... is controlled by the leg or face that occupies the interior of the puppet.

Could you make this definition clearer ? It doesn't make sense to me. Isn't it a hand that "occupies" the interior of a handpuppet ? Merlin1000, October 19, 2011
