I've added this desperately stubby stub because it's called for by the Wikipedia:2004 Encyclopedia topics page; I'm sure we can improve it. seglea 4 July 2005 17:43 (UTC)

I have deleted the following because I think it's inaccurate - so far as I know, a neurone triggered by dopamine is called dopaminergic, etc. If you have authority for the statement, please revert my edit (but give the authority here).
