Why?

[edit]

Please, post rationale for removing my heavily sourced information. Thank you.--Sukhmeer69 (talk) 16:06, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Sukhmeer69: Looking at the edit history of this page, I don't see any situation where an editor reverted any edit of yours. Could you post a diff of what you're talking about? ~ RobTalk 19:24, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for asking. Here[1] with edits summery irrelevant then again here[2] with edit summery rm unsourced and irrelevant information and again here[3] with edit summery restore sourced version. --Sukhmeer69 (talk) 11:32, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you added that information, is there a reason why you're using multiple accounts? You may wish to read WP:VALIDALT and ensure that your use of multiple accounts falls within legitimate uses. ~ RobTalk 14:37, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry didn't get you! What do you mean by multiple accounts? This is my only account and btw, what about the diffs you asked? Is this related to multiple accounts? --Sukhmeer69 (talk) 15:45, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The first diff you posted shows RishabhReporter's edit being reverted, not yours. You earlier claimed that "your" heavily sourced information was removed, so I was questioning whether this is an alternate account of yours. None of the diffs you posted show edits made by your current account being reverted. ~ RobTalk 16:54, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I first thought you an experienced editor but it seems you're too lazy to even check. Please, ask administrators to check my account. You're more familiar to me than RishabhReporter. I first made the edit on the page here[4] and whenever I checked the page, I saw my contribution removed and that is why I asked here and you from nowhere associating me with a blocked account. Please, show me where the other editor made the edit which you're calming to be his? You should better check before blaming a fellow editor. Thank you.Sukhmeer69 (talk) 17:28, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize if you were offended. I'm not blaming you for anything. You provided a diff, and I was just commenting based on that. I asked you for more information regarding where your edit was, and that's it. As for why your information was removed, it appears it was removed because it isn't particularly relevant. Placing this film in historical context, the desired release date is not particularly important for instance. If you have additional questions about why things were reverted, I recommend asking the person who reverted them on their talk page. ~ RobTalk 18:44, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for being rude. I think it should be there because there are multiple reliable sources made it headlines and release date plays a vital role for a film for its business reason. Anyways, thanks for your kind explanation.Sukhmeer69 (talk) 19:41, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I certainly could have done some things better in our conversation as well. While it wasn't my intent, I can see how you interpreted it as an accusation. If you believe it should be in the article, I'd recommend posting your sources here. It might be worth a note if it was newsworthy in reliable sources. If you can grab some sources, I'll ping the editor that reverted your edit so you can discuss things further. ~ RobTalk 19:55, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
