The article needs to be greatly expanded - currently, it is so overly simplified that it is next to useless. The numbers, names and locations of the regions varied from time period to time period: for example, during the era of the Roman empire, after the partition of Armenia into the Byzantine and Persian zones of influence, the medieval period of the kingdoms, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.143.19 (talk) 00:34, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
