it sounds more like "I Know U Got Soul" by Eric B and Rakim than the LL Cool J track mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.96.117.240 (talk) 01:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lawro isn't in it, he was at Oxford by then. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.251.17 (talk) 16:58, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well here we go here's where my memory gets really tested: I was working in a West London recording studio when that classic Liverpool side came in to record (as I remember) "Anfield Rap". I'm pretty sure they'd LOST the Charity Shield that same afternoon to Arsenal, 1-0; anyway they weren't in the best of moods. And I'm sure this was way after they'd lost the FA Cup final to Wimbledon....? Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

What I do remember is that I had strict orders not to let ANYONE in (the massive team bus was parked outside the studio in the middle of a council estate) and a kid came up to the door and rang the bell. I went to the door and more or less told him to piss off - he did but came back half an hour later wearing the full Liverpool strip (Candy were their sponsors at the time I think).

I couldn't let him in but I got his autograph book and every member of that classic squad signed his book (except one, who was "too busy"). That kid Sam would probably be in his 30's now, hope he appreciated it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mv0007 (talkcontribs) 23:55, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
