Orphaned

[edit]

How do we check how many articles like to this? Who wants to help get this orphaned. Angular spectrum is an important topic. Gfutia 07:41, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Propose Move

[edit]

I propose changing the name of this article to angular spectrum from angular spectrum method. Gfutia 07:43, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remove reference to FFT

[edit]

The reference to FFTs should be removed: the model is to use Fourier transforms, not DFT or its computational companion, the FFT. The wording as it now stands implies that there is some reason to use DFT (FFT) and there is no such reason. Indeed, the DFT might be used fruitfully but as always, it should be used with care as otherwise surprises can ensue. Again: The fundamental model is (continuous) Fourier transform, not discrete Fourier transform. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.101.218.30 (talk) 11:22, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
