This film claims to be a bilingual film, but there are no reliable sources that state this. This source is not reliable. [1]
Furthermore, based on the trailer, the films seem to have been dubbed in Telugu. The creators of the film (directors, produces, music, cinematography, editing, etc.) are Tamil and the supporting cast (Adhidev and Linga) are both Tamil actors. In the Telugu trailer, Keerthy Suresh's voice is dubbed, but can anybody confirm that the film was shot in Telugu? Also, remember that any recent sources from The Times of India that say "bilingual" don't count because the writers of those websites base their decisions on what is written on Wikipedia. This seems to be a dubbed film in disguise akin to Nadigaiyar Thilagam. For example, this source ([2] is recent so the writer must have copied from Wikipedia. In other words, there needs to be an older source that states that the film is bilingual.
On the bottom of Eshvar Karthic's Twitter page, he releases the poster in English and Tamil, but not Telugu. Please clear the confusion. Thanks. --TamilMirchi (talk) 05:31, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- TamilMirchi, this source says, "#PenguinOnPrime premieres June 19 in Tamil and Telugu, with dub in Malayalam". Kailash29792 (talk) 05:49, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- Kailash29792, This is a primary source. Is there older sources that state this? TamilMirchi (talk) 01:54, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- TamilMirchi, the director's Twitter account (no verified sign) says the same, which Prime Video's FB page copied and slightly rewrote. If this too is a non-usable primary source, guess we have to wait till tomorrow, the release date (if it is dubbed, it will show in the censor certificate).
