Sherman in the IDF
[edit]Some sources (in Russian): http://www.waronline.org/IDF/Articles/Armor/1948-1952_tanks.html, http://www.waronline.org/IDF/Articles/sherman_meir.htm, http://www.waronline.org/IDF/Articles/ground_forces.htm#artillery. Currently I don't have time to translate them, I'll try to do it later. Bukvoed 10:46, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Article is a a bit US centric
- title should be post World War II, not "post war"
- "foreign" should be outside of the United States

Can't find pics in "Commons" for the Argentinian Sherman "Repotenciado"
[edit]Hi All, I was unable to find "free" pics (neither in "Commons" nor in the "Wikipedia"s that I usually consult), to illustrate this variant/conversion of the Sherman. I'll upload a couple "low-resolution", based on some I've found in Internet, and will quote where I took them from. If someone can help with more adequate pics, will appreciate that.

Sort order of the countries in this article?
[edit]Hi all, I wonder which is the criteria used to sort the countries in mentioned in the sections of this article. Alphabetic? For year of entry in service? To me, seems "none"... Can pls anyone help?

"Image gallery" section
[edit]I've just added this section in the article, with the intention of better organizing this article's structure: leaving within its text just those pics that help clarifying what is said in each section; and moving to the "gallery" the rest of the pics.
Kind regards, DPdH (talk) 04:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

UK Shermans after WW2
[edit]My dad was a despatch rider in the Royal Engineers in the 1950s and often escorted convoys of Shermans as an outrider clearing junctions. The article does not mention post-war UK Shermans. Stub Mandrel (talk) 20:18, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
