Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Jane Eisner. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Article issues

[edit]

COI tag added as article created by SPI paid editor or subject. Article remains thin and seems to be borderline notabiltiy. Sourcing is largely related to the subject, there are unverified claims, and one entire section of puffery was sourced to a Wall Street Journal article that did not substantiate the claimed affiliation. Sourcing of entire article requires examination per BLP. Coretheapple (talk) 14:23 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Merged

[edit]

I've WP:BOLDly merged with The Forward. This article began as a WP:DUCK self-written or paid editing COPVIO, lifted in toto from http://forward.com/author/jane-eisner/. Much of the self-promotion and puffery dropped out over the years, but it remains essentially a resume, sourced mainly to related entities, where there is sourcing at all. The only independent sourcing to speak of is a brief New York Times announcement of her appointment and a personal article on her daily routine, which together I think don't meet GNG. I noticed sourcing not supporting statements in the article, including a list of presumed credits sourced to a Wall Street Journal article that mentioned only one of them. Overall I think merger is the best solution. Coretheapple (talk) 16:34, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
