nature of NRHP HD
I removed the following comment about the NRHP HD mentioned in the article: "Consisting primarily of a federally-administered park,[1] the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982."
Reference
The claim that the HD is largely a park does not appear to me to be borne out by the source. From the "definitions" link from that page, it sounds like the GNIS listing is for the NRHP HD district itself, and "park" including cultural features and administered by government is the closest choice it could get to saying it is a historic district that is listed on the National Register.
I'll withdraw my AfD request to delete this article, as it is documented now that there is a place of this name, but it seems unfair to others to have to do the documentation. The article should not have been started, in my view, and it still could perhaps better be merged into the Woodstock, Vermont article. doncram (talk) 23:25, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
